is part of Hokkaido, Japan which you may not know much about. But there are a lot of places to visit and see. Hopefully you can get some hints on traveling in Iburi District.

Where is Iburi District?

You can see where the district is. Yes, it is very close to New Chitose Airport which many international airline companies make use of. Click the area on the map below you want to get a gist of..

• The city of Tomakomai is less than 30kms from the airport, which is closer than to Sapporo.
• The town of Shiraoi is next to Tomakomai. There is a world-famouse indigenous museum.
• Noboribetsu in the center of Iburi accepts quite a few tourists who like to bathe in "onsen" (hot spring).
